Dennis Wendel bought the store from Rick Ell in February 2014. A new building was put up to house LaMoure Foods and LaMoure Hardware.
On the grocery store side, they went from 7,400 square feet to 10,000 square feet. This allowed room to add new inventory to their product line. Each and every person that walks through the doors has a different need and expectation and the staff strives to make sure all needs are met. With 5 full time and 11 part time employees you are sure be taken care of. From time to time you might also see local school students working, this is possible with an “on the job training” program thru the school.
They have a great in store bakery with homemade Kuchen and other tasty treats. If you ever need a meat and cheese tray, fruit basket or specialty gift basket, look no further than LaMoure Foods.
