The LaMoure City Council met on Monday, June 10, 2024, in the LaMoure City Council Room. In attendance was Clint Hoggarth, Lori Gentzkow, Stuart Good, Kimberly Radermacher, Brad Nogosek, Trigg Baker, Vince Watkins, Dominic Hanson, Art Hagebock, Brandon Reber
Meeting called to order at 5:30 pm
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Minutes & Financial Reports:
-Minutes: Nogosek moved to approve as presented, Gentzkow second. Polled vote: all yes.
-Financial Report: Watkins moved to approve, Baker second. Polled vote: all yes.
-Bills: Gentzkow moved to approve. Good second. Polled vote: all yes
Legal Matters:
-Gaming site policy – table until more information is received from NDLC
-Increasing sales tax by 1% – considering increasing sales tax by one percent to put to street maintenance – finance committee will work on it after receiving the city attorney recommendation to be brought back in August
Engineers Report: reported on water tower process, next step, meet with Ohnstad Twichell next week
Committee Updates:
-Container ordinance- building committee to meet to update the building permit ordinance
-LaMoure Fire Dept becoming a fire district – committee to meet with fire chief
-Runway protection zone – city attorney is researching what will need to be done to zone it so no structures can be approved– current structures would be grandfathered in- should clarify where the runway protection zone should be
Police Update:
-Taser instructor certification completed
-Grant given for healthcare via iPad to start the process of
-Chiefs conference is coming up in Minot later this summer
-14 calls of service

-The Other Bar – license Watkins moved to approve, Gentzkow second. Polled vote: all yes.
-off-site – Alumni Banquet- Nogosek moved to approve, Baker second. Polled vote: all yes.
