June 2025 Minutes

The LaMoure City Council met on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 5:30 pm in the City Council Room at the City Office.  Present were Clint Hoggarth, Lori Gentzkow, Brad Nogosek, Greg Pedersen, Stuart Good, Trigg Baker, Art Hagebock, Ron Paul, Kimberly Radermacher, Kimberly Robbins, Bob Flath, Kimberly Robbins via conference call Brandon Reber.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Minutes: Amend the minutes to reflect the change to the statement on the horse arena that they receive no water or sewer services.  Nogosek moved to approve, Baker second.  Polled vote, all yes.

Financials: Gentzkow moved to approve presented financials, Pedersen second.  Polled vote, all yes

Bills: Baker moved to approve presented bills and Nogosek second.  Polled vote, all yes.

Auditor Bond Resolution: Baker, Gentzkow Polled vote: all yes.

 

Legal:  Two ordinances 1st reading of the golf course and resolution for the public comments will be made in July.

 

Engineer: the water tower is continuing to move to completion

 

Visitors: Kimberly Robbins to discuss the river gauge at Adrian is the temporary gauge, it is a cost share the city portion would be $1000.  A motion to support the cost share of $1040 to support the gauge.  Pedersen moved to approve the cost share.  Gentzkow second.  Polled vote: all yes.

 

Police; DRN is updating the security system at the emergency center.  The old car is up for bids.

Vehicle citations will go out this week.

 

Committee: Buildings and ground committee to develop plan for removal of white building.

 

Permits: The Other Bar: liquor for the rest of the year-Gentzkow moved to approved, Good second.   Polled vote: all yes.

 

 

 

Other: Congratulations to the Loboe Baseball Team on their impressive second-place finish, to the track team for their strong showing at the state meet, and to Norah DelaBarre for setting a new state record in the discus. Well done to all on your outstanding achievements!

 

 

 

With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:55 pm.
