September 2025 Minutes

The LaMoure City Council met on Monday September 8, 2025, at 5:30 pm in the City Council Room at the City Office.  Present were Clint Hoggarth, Jen LeBlanc, Stuart Good, Trigg Baker, Lori Gentzkow, Dominic Hanson, Heath Schaffer, Art Hagebock, Brandon Reber joined via conference call.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Minutes: LeBlanc moved to approve as presented, Gentzkow second.  Polled vote, all yes.

Financials: Baker moved to approve presented financials, Good second.  Polled vote, all yes

Bills: Gentzkow to approve presented bills and LeBlanc second.  Polled vote, all yes.

Budget Hearing: Baker moved to approve the presented finalized budget, Gentzkow second.  Polled vote: all yes.

Property Tax: LaMoure Housing has requested a property tax reduction for the old church that has been converted into apartments.  Good moved to approve the request, Baker second.  Polled vote, all yes.  Motion passed

 

Engineers Report: Reber presented a pay request from the tank contractor.  Baker moved to approve the request, and pay zero dollars on it.  Gentzkow second.  Polled vote: all yes. Motion passed.  Reber will work with Schaffer to get quotes on the water meter project.

 

Old Business: Bids on removing the two buildings in downtown LaMoure.  One bid was received from Klein’s Loader Service for $80,000.  Good moved to accept the bid, Gentzkow second.  Motion passed unanimously.

 

Permits: Don Heyd – storage shed – Good moved to approve.  LeBlanc second.  Polled vote, all yes.

Trevor Wendel for a concrete driveway and new roof on back garage.  Gentzkow move to approve.  Baker second.  Polled vote.  All yes.
